I wanted to create this blog about my niece in order to allow people to see updates on Miss Kyndall. I also made it because she is growing so fast and I want to be able to look back see how she's changed. I never knew I could love a little girl so much.

Lending a Hand

I stayed at my sister's the weekend after Kyndall was born to try to help her out since having a baby changes everything. Little did I realize how much work that was going to be. Between making formula, washing bottles, and holding her I was ready for a nap. I knew babies cried but I didn't know that it was even possible for them to cry pretty much all the time. Amy was running on basically no sleep after she had Kyndall. I tried helping as much as I could but I really had no idea what I was doing.

I've gone up and seen them multiple weekends now and I'm starting to get the hang of things. I love holding her. Now I can feed her, burp her, give her a bath, get her dressed, and hold and comfort her. I've even changed some diapers which was a BIG step for me. She's been crying a lot because of tummy aches. When she has them all you can do is hold and comfort her no matter how much she cries. Not long ago she even had a cold which was actually pretty scary. Her nose would get easily clogged and she would sometimes choke on her snot. Thankfully, she's better now but still gets some tummy aches.

She's changed so much over the months. I think she's starting to look more and more like Amy everyday. I'm going to add a slide show on here of some of her pictures when I get the time..
